Jack Farr

Graduated from Marshalltown Junior College in 1955. Joined Fisher Controls, as a Laboratory Technician, in December 1955 in their new Research Laboratory (built in 1954). Worked in the Training Center from Mid 1963 to 1965. I was Transferred to Customer Service (CS Supervisor) until moving to Purchasing in 1969. In Purchasing I Travelled to suppliers, as Delivery Assurance Coordinator , before becoming a Casting Buyer. Moved to Quality Assurance in 1987. I travelled extensively in QA, including Europe and Asia, as a Casting Specialist and Senior Quality Assurance Auditor. I audited Fisher Controls suppliers for commercial (ISO) and Nuclear (NCA3800) Quality Systems capabilities. I retired in February 1999. My wife Charlotte (Hoke) retired in February 1999 from the Medical Records Department at MMSC (Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Clinic).
