Patricia Agnes Metge, 79, of Altoona, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Pat was the daughter of H.R. (Bob) and Gladyce (Niederhauser) Switzer and was born in Marshalltown, Iowa. She graduated with the Marshalltown Class of 1953, and then graduated from Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Pat was united in marriage to Robert Metge on September 1, 1956. She and Bob resided in West Des Moines for more than 30 years, and most recently in Marshalltown. Left to cherish her memory is Robert, her husband of 58 years; Children: Jeff (Cindy) Metge of Altoona, Iowa, Kelli (Scott) Meyer of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Jill (Jim) Weiskircher of Phoenix, Arizona.
