Joined airforce in '53, flew jet fighters at age 20 for 8 years, joined United for 32 years, retired off the 747-400. Got married in 2007 to Anne and now speak "Iowa-ese" with an Irish accent. Still fly sweet little airplanes. Enjoying good health, 7 wonderful grandwilds, retirement, travel and beautiful Irish wife Anne.
I've thought alot about MHS and alot about my classmates. I've enjoyed those 3 years and have grown to love them but it's really more about loving my classmates as we all ventured through the hallways saying "Hi" or just lending an approving glance. I feel good about where I learned and what I learned.
I enjoyed "cruising Main street" in
our beat-up cars, hanging out at the "Y", racing Jerry Miller home, in our equally matched Chevy's. Attending John Barringer's entire line-up of shop classes and mechanical drawing class by Warren Dickinson. Those two were very big in my life to do life's work, along with coach Dean. Making eyes at all the girls that would look. Being the only one qualified (with a third place entry) going to the state meet for the long jump. I don't remember the year ... it seems like yesterday.

Darol ... the memory of burning a hole in my mom's blanket barely rings in my head (age 80 ?) but her silent disappoint burns in my heart. Remember the coon hounds storming through our camp site followed soon by the hunters in the black of a c-c-cold midnight.
Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY Margaret, hopefully it was more than expected.

Dear James,
It's prayed you are resting in peace. Your being a fellow student in high school is remembered now and until my eyes are closed. May we meet again ... with our Maker.

Hey Robert ... You're not getting older ... you're more experienced! As a consultant you need that elder look to advise us not so old looking investors, ha I wished! Get a grip on a good shot of whiskey and have ball ... my treat. Speaking of consulting, what do you think of RPM? Jerry
